Deadline

I agree we should make a deadline, how about Monday evening? I propose 9pm? Then it will give us a bit of time before Tuesday to finalize it, so that we can begin on Tuesday!

So many lists, so little time...

Wow! Just picking the books is going to be a bit harder than I imagined.

I like the idea of us both picking 25 books from the lists and then making that the "50". I took a really brief glance thru and there's some overlap in the lists too. :)

How to pick the books?

Apparently there are several lists of "books you must read before you die". Here is a blog that I found with several of those lists: http://blog.quillp.com/books-to-read-before-you-die/.

I figure we can look through them and then comprise our own 50 books that we need to get through. I highly want to suggest Dr. Zhivago, only because it has a character with the name Lara, which I am pretty sure is just Lera, with a different spelling.

One possible idea on how to comprise our own list is that we each pick 25 books, and then go from there. There will probably be some overlapping in our choices, or choices that the other has read.

Another idea is to stick to one list, and then go on and each pick 25 books from it.

Any thoughts?
